JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION: sales Manager DEPARTMENT: Retail REPORTING To: Regional sales Manager LOCATION: Dubai Mall 10b code: DXB201311 Exempt/Non-exempt status: Exempted Recommended Salary Grade: B Date: 09/11/2013 Summary: Responsible for the day to day running of the store, maximize profit while minimizing costs and ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised to the company''s standards. Monitoring store staff to achieve their daily targets and to have the highest customer care. Required to deal with Human resources, marketing, logistics, information technology and finance.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1 . Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results. 2. Maintains store staff Job results by coaching counselling and disciplining employees, planning monitoring and appraising Job results. 3. Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget. 4. Scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, and initiating corrective actions. 5. Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers. 6.

Ensure availability of merchandise nd services by approving contracts and maintaining inventories. 7. Secures merchandize by implementing security systems and measures. 8. Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment. 9. Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements. 10. Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed. Reporting Relationships Supervising all the store staff in their general performance, will be working directly with regional financial manager, HR manager, and regional merchandiser department.

Dealing with suppliers and vendors and Health and Safety agencies. To be involved in regional budget meeting, creating new design internally and externally, motivating staff by implementing new incentives, handling 10000 AED of Petty cash and merchandising without exceeding 8000 AED budget. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTITUDE: Knowledge: General knowledge of the internet and good computer proficiency Sales background with specialising in transaction processing General information regarding the industry Motivation and team building Leadership development Skills: Customer Focus Tracking Budget Expenses
